2018 McDonalds Queensland Championships
Bracken Ridge Swimming Club swimmers Jordan Conroy, Danika Harvey and Ebony Campbell represented the club at the 2018 McDonalds Queensland Championships at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre last week. The swimmers participated in multiple events over the meet which ran from 15-21 December.
There were a number of highlights during the program. Notably, Ebony swam a PB time in the Girls 15 Years 200m backstroke final, placing 7th overall and 5th in Queensland. Danika also registered a PB and placed 7th in the Girls 16 Years 200m breaststroke final. Both swimmers have qualified for the 2019 Hancock Prospecting Australian Age Championships to be held in April in Adelaide.
Coach Anthony McLeod said that he was very happy with the resilience of all of the swimmers. “They really pushed through what was a tough week of racing.”
