TOWEL AWARDS
Every year we award Towel Awards to the swimmers with the biggest improvement points in each of the strokes. These are given out in two categories – 10years and Under and 11 years and over. This year we are changing when these are awarded. We are starting with Freestyle and improvement points for this stroke will be based on the first 5 weeks of club nights and then we will move through the strokes in reverse medley order, presenting towels at 4 occasions over the season. Any winners are then ineligible for any further strokes throughout the season.
Points are given at every club night and range from -1 points to 8 points depending on how close you get to your PB(personal best). N.B you only lose points if you fail to tell me that you will not be competing at a club night.
VOLUNTEER ROSTER LEVY
The Parent Volunteer Roster Levy is $50/family and has been added to your accounts. You need to have paid this levy by the end of Week 4.
The Levy is refundable on completion of the volunteer roster obligations which is 10 completed rosters over the season. 5 rosters must be completed prior to Christmas and 5 must be completed after Christmas.
If you complete all 10 rosters then the money will be refunded to you at the end of the season or used as a credit on your account if you so desire.
Any questions about this then let me know.
